The "InZen" reportage documents the effects of the evictions carried out by the police in the neighborhood "ZEN" of Palermo in May 2010. The measure was used to deliver the housing to their respective dignitaries, but got 34 families homeless, who for months have been living in tents, without water nor electricity, close to their previous homes. They began to protest for the right to housing, in hopes of receiving by the Municipality an alternative accommodation, but in the absence of a valid response, after the hot summer months, many of these families have arranged for as they could: some have changed district relying on the help of relatives, some others occupied houses still under construction, living in dusty spaces, without floors and services. The report focuses on the state of distress of the evictees who did not receive medical care visits (despite the many hardships faced by pregnant women and children), but only solidarity's statements from individuals and churches. The aim of this report is to arouse an useful and honorable emphaty that should be natural in the civil context.

Il reportage "InZen" documenta la situazione degli sfrattati del quartiere ZEN 2 di Palermo a seguito degli sgomberi effettuati dalla polizia nel maggio 2010. Il quartiere, nato negli anni 70 per ospitare le case popolari in periferia, è divenuto simbolo di una Palermo divisa da frontiere simboliche e fisiche. Il provvedimento del 2010 è servito a consegnare le case popolari agli effettivi aventi diritto, ma ha di fatto lasciato senza tetto 34 famiglie di occupanti abusivi, che per mesi hanno vissuto in tenda, senza acqua nè corrente elettrica, vicino alle loro ex case. Questi hanno intrapreso una protesta per il diritto alla casa, nella speranza di ricevere dal Comune degli alloggi alternativi. In assenza di una risposta valida, dopo i caldi mesi estivi, molte di queste famiglie si sono arrangiate per come potevano: alcune hanno cambiato quartiere contando sull'aiuto dei parenti, altre hanno occupato altre case popolari ancora in costruzione, vivendo in ambienti polverosi, privi di pavimenti, servizi, e infissi. L'obiettivo si sofferma sullo stato di disagio degli sfrattati, nella speranza di suscitare quell'empatia, utile e onorevole, che dovrebbe essere naturale nel contesto civile.
